01
From an idea to a usable foundation
Efficient DS is an independent exploration of what it means to build a design system from a designer's perspective. Rather than stopping at visual specifications, I brought the idea into code.
02
The system underneath the screens
The work centres on scalable, token-based foundations and reusable components. Accessibility and usability are design priorities, not a claim that every part has completed a formal accessibility audit.
- Reusable visual foundations
- Token-based consistency
- Components that connect design and implementation
03
Learning through building
Building the system hands-on connects decisions in the design file with the constraints of a working interface. It is an ongoing project, and the live site is the best place to explore its current state.
The project is still evolving. Explore the current implementation or get in touch to discuss the thinking behind it.
